WBO Holds Technical Committee Meeting at Its Headquarters in Miami

World BASC Organization (WBO) held its second Technical Committee meeting of 2026 on February 9 and 10 at the Organization’s headquarters in Miami, Florida. 

The Technical Committee plays a fundamental role in the periodic review of the BASC International Standards and regulatory and technical documents that support the Organization’s global operations. Its work ensures the continuous updating of the BASC Security and Control Management System (SGCS BASC), maintaining alignment with international best practices and the evolving dynamics of international trade. 

During the session, the 2026 work plan was presented, outlining strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the technical framework of the BASC model, enhancing regulatory guidelines, and modernizing tools that support chapters and certified companies in the effective implementation of the SGCS BASC.
